Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I love to eat here because the environment is very good. Also, I'm so excited that it has drive through and save my time to find a parking spot

Went through the drive thru tonight, we ordered a large chow mein for the kids, a 2 entree for myself, and 3 entree meal for the mr. . Got to the window, lady was obviously distracted( as she was when taking our order), did not inform us that there was a wait for an entree, just closed the window. As we were waiting, watched another employee take a toothpick full of food and proceed to eat it in front of us. As we saw our plates just sitting there. After a bit, they gave us our food. Noticed we did not get the large chow mein. Pulled around and he went inside to get it. No biggie. Then when we got home, they had gotten his order wrong. He asked for Beijing beef and he got broccoli beef. We then noticed his broccoli beef. I'll attach photos, but this place just messed up too much on one order for my liking, will NOT be going back.

Service is awful. This is my second visit. Thought I'd give them another chance. 5 employees working with 2 people ahead of me in line plus a drive thru and it took 20 minutes! Not going back.

The girl working at the drive through was horribly rude and impatient and the food isn't as good as their other locations. Just avoid this place.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. At one point I spit out my food to make sure I wasn't eating poop. Eating here was a life changing experience in that it took my innocence. I am extremely regretful that I ate here and may God have mercy on not only on my soul but on the souls of everybody that has has ever and will

If you think to yourself "well I love the Chinese food at Safeway, but it's just too good for me" try Panda Express. Salty mystery meat in goopy sauces over dried out rice or soggy noodles.

Panda-monium! I have a soft spot for panda. We used to get the delivery from Panda Inn when we lived in LA growing up. It's amazing to see how it's grown since! We usually get the panda family fest which gets you 2 large starches & 3 large meats for $30. That can't be beat! We switch it up, but our favorites are orange chicken (a classic!), honey walnut prawns, and string bean chicken. A couple orders of potstickers are usually in the mix too. Ask for the hot mustard and chili sauces. Yum! I really like this location because they're friendly and because it's so busy with a drive through they have a high turnover of food, which means our food is almost always made fresh for us. They've also never messed up our order like other locations have.

It's not a shocker, right? The two stars? Because you knew, Katrina, going in... or at least you SHOULD have known... this wasn't going to end well. The service is fine. They are efficient and give you what you have ordered. It's not their fault, Katrina. You ordered that food. You wanted to have something "different." That's all on you. Here's what you've tried: beef with broccoli, orange chicken, chicken with string beans, fried rice, white rice, all that jazz. Here's what you've been able to eat in its entirety: the fortune cookie. Each to his own learning curve; I understand. Like how it took you 5 years of ordering the Carl's Jr #3 once every six months before it stuck in your pea brain that it makes you feel ill. So maybe this last time is the last time you make your way through that Panda Express drive-thru. Maybe you write it down and remember why. Why: You've been a fast food connoisseur since your mom worked at Burger King when you were 2 years old. You've seen and tasted the changes, especially in the meats. When not constituted of chipboard, all fast-food meats have become progressively mealier, but you've learned to pick the better ones. Panda Express, Katrina: not one of the better ones. The Panda seems to have a corner on the soggiest segment of this market. The meat and vegetables are about the same mushy consistency, which all works to nicely complement the tepid temperature and awful styrofoam container. You know the sound of a plastic fork against styrofoam? I'm cringing just thinking about it. I could -- and probably should -- get much better Chinese food delivered to my work or house for about the same price. Even Jack-in-the-Box has a decent Teriyaki Bowl that renders this disaster unnecessary. They do have good fortune cookies, although even the fortunes themselves are kinda crap. My last one (cross my fingers and hope to die) said: PLEASURES AWAIT YOU BY THE SEASHORE. I can only hope the pleasure is in knowing that the terrible temptation of Panda Express is far, far away.

5 stars because the drive thru is awesome! I'm obsessed with Chinese food and since Portland doesn't have very many decent Chinese joints we just stick to Panda because it's right down the street. Their food is consistent, decent, service is fast, and employees are friendly.

Waited twenty minutes for a fresh cooked portion that I ended up having to walk inside and get. Nothing was offered for the inconvenience. I will stick to wilsonville.

It never fails that when I go through the drive thru they always get my order wrong I do not know if it's because I'm spending over $40 on five separate two entree meal and I'm not physically watching them put it in the containers for what but I have never gone through the drive through and got a fully correct order I only hit this location when I'm heading downtown Portland every single time they hand me my order I asked them are you sure its correct and is there a fork in the bag the employee always reassures me that it's correct and it never is so they take my name and say come back and we will replace your meal every time I come back and no idea what I'm talking about I will give them 3 stars for the fact that I don't have to wait long in the drive thru and the food is absolutely fresh but whoever is managing that window needs to figure it out

let me start by saying i love Panda Express! however, i was a loyal customer until last week. i went in for a wonderful shrimp bowl only to see the line employee get flustered and drop several plates on the floor. she then proceeded to pick up the plates and place them again on the line. she not only used unsanitary plates to serve to customers but she did not even change her gloves! ick! i walked out and called the store and the response i received was "we know who it is and we will talk to her." not going back - would have placed a 0 but 1 is the lowest score.

I stopped by here on my way to a movie premier, and have to say it's better than expected. Usually, I'd think of these on the same level as Taco Bell or Mc-D or BK... Untrue! Panda Express is much cleaner and the food is much better for you. Of course it may be a few bucks more than a value meal for other fast-food joints, but overall, you're going to each much better. I ordered the fried rice with Pepper Shrimp and Beijing Beef. I always have to grab a couple of the hot packets and add those, because the spice they season it with is not for the average Korean that likes it extra spicy:-) All of this was less than $10.00 and was quick and easy. I'd definitely stop by here again in the future and there are usually little to no lines.

This was one of the cleanest, friendliest fast food restaurants I have ever been to. Service was quick, servers were happy to help and they had tons of board games for the kids to play while we were waiting. We even stayed after we are to finish playing. The food was about what I was expecting from a fast food chain, but the overall experience really made a difference. We will definitely go back again.

Brand new Panda Express, still had that new restaurant smell when I walked in. A welcome addition to our little corner of world that features Bridgeport Village across the freeway and this little strip mall which features a Fuddruckers, Baja Fresh, a deli and a teriyaki place. Across the street is the holy trinity of fast food, Taco Bell, Carls Jr and Burger King and in the adjacent strip mall is an Arby's, Wu's Open Kitchen, Safeway and a Subway. Lunch time here at the Boones Ferry off ramp off I-5 is never short on choices. This time I wanted to try the new kids on the block. Getting there was pretty easy, it can be congested in this area around feeding time so be patient with the signal lights. I walked in and was a little thrown off because there are no trays out in the open to grab like in older Panda's. Since there was no tray runner along the counter I figured the moved everything behind the glass. As I perused the choices I was happy to see no wilted looking food that you see at some Panda's, you know what I am talking about, green beans that look like wilted lettuce strips, broccoli that has that light color to it... anyway, none of that. I ordered the chow mien noodles, sweet fire chicken and the green bean chicken, Even after lunch hour, I was there about 1:30pm, everything was hot and freshly made. Impressive if you know what I mean. The employees were friendly enough, gave me extra soy sauce without that look you get sometimes when you ask for something extra. All in all a good addition to our little corner of Portland.

Panda is a place my kids like to go. I don't really care too much for them though. So my review is a mix of mine and my children. For me, they use too much vinegar and the food seems to sit there far too long to be considered fresh. There are some things I like...the size of their soda cups, rangoons, and pepper chicken. I think they should do more with their noodles...offer different kinds (mushrooms!). Prices are kind of standard, but I've had better for the same price.

All I have to say is don't go through the drive-thru, you'll end up waiting forever. I saw people inside getting food before me and I was ignored.

Quality of food can vary, but is generally pretty good. I come here at least once a week to get my Orange Chicken fix.

I travel quite a bit for work and have been to a handful of Panda Express restaurants. they all are pretty much the same and what i appreciate the most is the freshness and the veggies they offer. HOWEVER, I have tried this particular location 3 times and found the same flaws everytime, flaws that I have not found at the SW Canyon locations nor others. At this location, the owner could be a skin flynt because the portions are half the size of Canyon and even with 2-3 hours yet to go to closing many pans are dry. the manager filled my order last night THEN realized he was out of two requested items, instead of getting me fresh items he left my to go plate sitting on a cold counter while the rest of the order was complete. Meanwhile, fresh fried rice and chow mein came outwhile mine became cold. It would have been worth to me as the manager to refill my order fresh to keep me coming back but he had no interest in customer loyalty nor service. When I asked to look in my box he just stared at me and said "Is something wrong" . NO DUH. I have given you my money 3-4 times now AND I WONT BE BACk. Drive to the SW Canyon location folks.
